The Honda CB250F motorcycle is also called as Honda Hornet 250. This is the most popular 250cc Motorbike in Sri Lanka. Furthermore this motorbike is classified as standard motorcycle. In 1996 Honda did introduced this motorbike for Japanese market only. In the meantime they were started to be exported as used Japanese motorcycles to other parts of the world including Sri Lanka.

CB250F can produce 40 PS at 14,000 rpm. Liquid cooled engine with 4 carbs, 16 valves, 4 cylinders and 4 spark plugs are provided to this bike. Correctly tuned model can provide more useful low end power. In addition the bike is provided with a 6-speed transmission for smooth riding. Further more the machine can provide nice to listen high pitch whistle like sound when started. It provides high seat position for the pillion rider with the grab bar facility.
