New Honda Dio Scooter.

Honda Dio  scooter with LED Headlamp is now being sold in the Sri Lanka market after it was unveiled in the Indian market. This scooter now comes with a new BS-VI compliant engine to provide clean exhaust that won’t harm the environment. Dual-tone color scheme makes the scooter to look more attractive from the other scooters in the market. Large LED daytime running lights and Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) are additional features in the new design scooter. Combi Braking System (CBS) provides great braking power in an emergency on the road for the rider.  Tubeless Tyre, comes with this new scooter. It got fuel tank of 5.3 liters capacity.

The buyers can select the new scooter from any of the available five exciting colors. They are Pearl Sports Yellow, Vibrant Orange, Sports Red, Matte Axis Grey Metallic and Candy Jazzy Blue. In Sri Lanka currently there are four colors only available from the dealers.

In Sri Lanka it is necessary to get the revenue license and the third party insurance to drive a scooter or a motorcycle on the streets. It is compulsory to wear helmets to protect the rider and the pillion passenger. Riding a scooter with out a certified helmet is an offense where the rider can be prosecuted in the courts for violation of the law. Foreigners who want to ride motorcycle or scooter must have a local temporary driving license issued by the authorities.
