MT-07 Motorcycle was carrying its name as Yamaha FZ-07 till 2015 and later it got its current MT name actually it means “Master of Torque”. Yamaha MT 07 Motorcycle was unveiled in the year 2014. Legendary Yamaha Motor Company unveiled this model with the name as MT 07. Currently the Yamaha MT-07 Motorcycle is marketed as Hyper Naked Bike and as Standard model through out the world. Liquid cooled 4 stroke 8 valve DOHC parallel twin Engine is fitted to it with crossplane crankshaft. This motorbike can achieve 133 Mph (214 Km/h) in normal street condition. Fuel economy is calculated as 24.2 km/L (57 mpg). Full LED lighting with Y shaped Projector LED lighting in the front help the rider to move safely in the night.

Advanced Twin Cylinder Engine.
Yamaha MT-07 motorbike features a compact 689cc liquid-cooled, inline twin cylinder, DOHC engine with fuel injection. This Yamaha engine provides a unique power character, with outstanding low- to mid-range torque and very linear throttle response, combined with strong high-rpm pulling power. MT-07 Engine can develop 50 foot pounds of Torque and it maximize the riding excitement.
New LCD Meter.
New multi-function negative display LCD dash with a black background and white readouts. When the Engine’s RPM reading above 10k is indicated with red color. Larger display for the clock, current gear, trip/odometers and tachometer. Meter functions can be toggled and reset with the left handlebar thumb switch. Gear indicator is on the right. And the tachometer is positioned on top.
Offset Cylinder Block.
The CP2 engine shifts its cylinder bores slightly forward, towards the exhaust side. This offset reduces piston to cylinder wall friction, for more power and improved fuel economy.
Compact Stacked Transmission.
The six-speed transmission “stacks” the input/output shafts in a triangular layout to keep the overall engine size shorter front-to-back, which optimizes engine placement in the frame for outstanding weight balance. Transmission ratio of this Yamaha motorbike reduces the need for frequent shifting of gears.
Refined Fuel Injection.
Electronic fuel injection settings deliver a smooth throttle response to enhance riding enjoyment from open roads to the urban sprawl. The system delivers outstanding torque in the low- and mid-rpm range along with exciting acceleration in the upper rpm range.
Midship Arranged Exhaust System.
The exhaust muffler is provided at the lower part of its frame. And close to the center of the machine. Its centralized mass is for better all-around handling.
