Renault, the French automaker had introduced the Kwid AMT in India in 2016 and now it is available in Sri Lanka too. New vehicles were introduced at an introductory price of Rs 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This model is about Rs 30,000 pricier than the Kwid 1.0-litre manual variant. Further to enhance these AMT range, 1000cc engines are provided to these models along manual gearbox as well. KWID AMT version car is more fuel efficient than the regular Kwid 1.0L model. Against the manual version’s 23.01kmpl, the AMT model delivers 24.04kmpl.
